I am part of the Office Automation Insights team. My work involves building actionable insights from the data generated by Office's automation system. The core focus is understanding customer needs and creating tools & visuals to help alleviate their primary pain points.
As a frontend developer at SecureX, I learnt to build well designed, secure, and structured user interfaces using Angular and React. I contributed to the user interface design and implementation of their primary application as well as a completely independent secondary application.
I provided browser automation and web scraping services to clients who wish to automate tedious information-gathering or data-entry processes. I also provided database design and development, API building and implementation. Most of my work was done using Python and Javascript. You can check out my profile and my reviews here.
I was tasked with building an end-to-end system to generate insights from Microsoft Office Telemetry data. The system involved multiple chained services that would perform distributed calculations and generate summaries from the data. Every service was written in C# and executed scripts on Microsoft's Azure Data Lake. The summarized data was then pushed to Azure Data Explorer and visualized using PowerBI.
I did my major project under Prof. Basavaraj Talawar. We worked on designing solutions to memory allocation in heterogenous memory systems. We designed a library that would automatically allocate objects in such systems and provided a malloc-like API that would allow developers to easily build applications for heterogenous systems.
